Instructions for All Homeopathic Remedies

Homeopathic medicines can have a powerful effect when properly chosen for the specific ailments of the patient. Certain environmental factors, may, prevent or hinder their action. Please note that remedies have a labeled indication on the bottle such as ‘Headaches’ but this does not indicate the condition for which you are being treated it is a labelling requirement of the FDA. Please read the following instructions carefully. Homeopathic Pellet Remedy Instructions In all cases homeopathic remedies are to be taken per the instructions given to you by your Homeopath. Dissolve the pellets in mouth as directed by your Homeopathic practitioner. Consult your Homeopath for further instructions. Homeopathic Liquid Remedy Instructions In all cases homeopathic liquid remedies are to be taken per the instructions given to you by your Homeopath. Strike or shake the dropper bottle vigorously as instructed by your Homeopath by holding the closed upright bottle and firmly strike it against a thick book or similar surface. This is called “succussing” the remedy.

Instructions for ALL Homeopathic Remedies

1. Protect the Remedy: Direct sunlight, excessive heat, (120 degrees),
excessive moisture and strong odors can destroy a remedy. Strong perfumes
and odors especially anything with significant camphor and menthol will
affect the remedies.
2. Mouth should be substance free: Mouth should be free from food, liquid,
gum, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. Do not eat or drink anything 15 minutes
before and after taking your remedy.
3. Avoid touching the remedy: Make sure your hands are free of strong
odors. Place pellets in your mouth without touching them with your hands.
Either dispense the pellets in the cap from the remedy vial or in a disposable
plastic spoon. If you use the cap to dispense do not touch the cap with your
mouth. For liquid remedies, avoid touching the dropper to your
tongue/teeth/mouth or any surfaces as it may contaminate the remedy.
4. Discard spilled or transferred remedy: If some remedy should
accidentally spill from its container, do not return it to the container. Discard
it. Do not transfer the remedy to other containers or bottles that contain
other substances. Do not reuse the containers when they are empty as they
may still carry properties of the remedy

Homeopathic Remedies May be Antidoted by

1.Coffee: The oils in the coffee beans itself, whether it be regular or decaffeinated, may antidote remedies even coffee flavored foods and drinks. It’s best to refrain from drinking coffee if at all possible but please note that this is not forever, consult your Homeopathic practitioner.
2. Camphor/Menthol/Strong Odors: Skin or mucous membrane application of camphor or menthol containing products may antidote remedies. Avoid anything with significant amounts of camphor such as deep heat rubs, ointments, creams, and balms that are applied to your skin. Avoid candies, lozenges, chewing gum and soaps with excessive camphor. Avoid any inhalation of heavy solvents, fumes, or smoke.
3. Anything to which you are particularly sensitive: Avoid any food, chemical or other environmental substance that may cause any reactions to your system. Avoid any inhalation of heavy solvents, fumes or smoke.
4. Medical or Dental procedures: Please inform you practitioner is you get an immunization, ultrasound, mammogram, or MRI. Teeth cleaning is ok, butsometimes causes antidoting, as can drilling. Please let your practitioner know when you are having any of these performed.
5. Allopathic drugs: Please tell your practitioner about all drugs, birth control, diet pills, herbs, vitamins, and supplements that you are taking. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU DISCONTINUE PRESCRIPTION MEDICINES WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING YOUR PHYSICIAN WHO  ORIGINALLY PERSCRIBED IT AND INFORMING YOUR HOMEOPATHIC PRACTITIONER.
6. Other possible antidotes: Electric blankets or any other contact or close proximity of electro-magnetic fields can antidote remedies

Return of Old Symptoms

It is not uncommon for homeopathic remedies to temporarily aggravate or bring back old symptoms including and not limited to skin reactions. Please do not use locally applied medicine of any kind without first consulting your practitioner especially true of topical steroids. Please do not take any other Homeopathic remedies, as this may affect the actions of the principle or main remedy prescribed to you, unless instructed by your Homeopathic practitioner
